SAT 06/20: Spring recital has been canceled. We have posted a commemorative video instead.

WED 06/03: As we work to process the tragic deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery, and countless others, we wanted to send a message to you directly. To families who are hurting, angry, and scared, we want you to know that Groove With Me, Inc. stands with you.

Discrimination is the greatest threat to a community built on belonging and acceptance. It cuts to the core of who we are and what we believe in. GWM stands with Black Lives Matter, and we reject racism, bigotry, and hate.

We can’t talk about recent events without also acknowledging the painful truth that some of our families still experience discrimination, something that is the very opposite of our mission to create belonging.

GWM is and should be a safe place for our families. On behalf of staff, we want you to know that we stand with you and for you. Sending love and peace to wherever you are.

We cannot wait to open up and see all of your faces!

TUES 03/10: Here at Groove With Me, the well-being of our students, families, and staff is of the utmost importance to us. We understand that many of you are concerned, not only about the possibility of exposure to the COVID-19 virus, but also about the impact on your personal and mental health, daily interactions, and engagement both in and outside of GWM. At times like these, it is important to remember that GWM is much more than a dance school, but a community and a family.

After careful consideration, Groove With Me, Inc. will be closed Thursday March 12, 2020 - Wednesday, March 18th, 2020

Rest assured, we do not have any confirmed cases of anyone diagnosed or exposed to the virus at GWM.  We are part of the effort to decrease the spread by suspending gatherings of people. We know how much GWM means to our community, which is why we are taking such precautionary measures. In order to remain a safe place, we must ensure that our families, teachers, and staff are healthy.

UPDATE: Our main priority at GWM is the safety of our community! With this said, we closed last week in the hopes of, “flattening the curve,” and slowing down the spreading of the virus to allow our hospitals and government to get ahead of this rapidly developing situation.

Community Guidance

  • Get a flu shot – it’s not too late.
  • Stay home when you are sick, and call your doctor if you are experiencing fever, or other flu-like symptoms.
  • If you plan to travel, please refer to the CDC’s travel advisories for updates.
