Industry Gymnastics is offering FREE online classes for kids from three months to eight years old and up, on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. The classes are streamed on Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. Here’s the schedule: ACD Playspace is sharing daily activities for you to do with your kids while at home. They are sending daily emails at 2pm with craft ideas and videos to use at a time that best fits your schedule. Subscribe on their website here, or see examples on Instagram. Ask the Pediatricians - While you’re trying to keep your kids safe, local doctors Micah Resnick and Rachel Brozinsky from Mount Sinai Pediatrics are answering any parents’ questions on Facebook LIVE on the MOMally Astoria Facebook Group (you must request to join the private group). They are doing them periodically. Find Rainbows - This adorable practice started in Brooklyn and now has made its way all over the city—and country! Families are putting drawings or painting of rainbows in their apartment windows, so then when children are out on walks getting fresh air, they can try to find as many rainbows as they can for a fun “scavenger hunt” of sorts. You can see the full map here. Astoria Bookshop is continuing their weekly storytime on Instagram on Thursdays at 11am. Tune in for a fun read and some entertainment for kiddos! The New York Public Library is also doing online storytime that you can watch back at any time. Wonderspark Puppets Live Puppet Shows & DIY Puppet Workshops - This local puppet show company is doing LIVE puppet shows every Friday at 11am and DIY workshops for creating your own puppets at home Monday-Friday at 4pm or Saturday & Sunday at 10am.
