Time to chill out! Snow is beautiful, it’s unique, and it's fun to build with- but what else can we learn about this weird substance? Get ready to plow through a lesson all about snow from ice-age creatures to the physics behind skiing down mountain slopes! Then we will take things outdoors for a winter nature walk and an animal track matching activity (so be sure to dress warmly!) Lastly, we will conclude by making a truly unique snowflake that you can enjoy all year long! How COOL is that?! All materials included. Participants are required to wear masks throughout the program. Limited to 10 participants.

Skate + Santa

Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park

Santa Claus is coming to Bryant Park! During select skate times in December families have the opportunity to say hello to Santa and get a holiday photo op from a safe social distance, FREE when they reserve Skate + Santa Tickets at rink.wintervillage.org. After you skate, head towards our Christmas Tree-o where our staff will greet you, provide hand sanitizer, and help take a socially distanced photo with Santa!

Guidelines:
  • There is no reentry onto the ice. Be sure to finish skating and return your skates before visiting Santa.
  • Upon entry, visitors will receive a Santa sticker. Visitors must wear this sticker throughout the entire visit.
  • To make sure everyone has a chance to meet Santa, families will be limited to 2 poses at the Christmas Tree-o.
  • Use your own phone to snap a picture of kids, take a selfie, or our staff can text you a picture taken on one his elves’ phones.
  • Bryant Park will not provide any props, but families are welcome to bring their own.
  • All visitors are required to wear a mask. Santa will be wearing a face covering.
  • Maintain 6’ of distance between other groups in the queue and 6’ distance from Santa.
  • Be nice! Santa is watching.
